Grant Gittus

Grant has been working in graphics for over 30 years, most of that running his own small studio.

He’s had people working for him, he’s worked for other people, he’s done a lot of freelancing in agencies. For a while he was a Studio Manager in a small advertising agency. He’s been a small offset printer, done some typesetting, proof-reading, illustration and an awful lot of finished art.

He painted his first book covers back in the late 70s, with the odd one every few years.

Most cover designs are a combination of stock images with massive amounts of Photoshop work. In some cases, photography, illustration or 3D modelling are also used. He works on a large number of ‘Picture Books’, ie large illustrated books for younger readers.
