Tony Thompson is the author of Summer of Monsters, a novel about Mary Shelley’s early life, and Shakespeare: The Most Famous Man in London. He is a well-regarded speaker and has been a regular guest at the Melbourne Writers Festival and other literary events throughout Australia.
He has also written two books for Sonicbond Publishing’s On Track series. The first, covering The Doors, was published in 2021. The second, on Credence Clearwater Revival, followed in 2022. His articles on books, music, and education have appeared in The Age, The Australian, The Daily Review Australia, toppermost.co.uk, and Eureka St.
Tony lives in Katoomba NSW and plays tenor saxophone with great enthusiasm.
