This book is just beautiful. It’s so well written and the illustration is gorgeous. It’s got so much amazing information and dialect in it. When our arrived I read it to my husband in my “preschool” voice so he got the full experience. I can’t wait to read it to the children at work! We are on Darkinjung land so it was nice to see “yaama” in the book too.

First time ever leaving a book review. I listened to the Authors speak at the Koori curriculum book summit and went straight out to buy it. There really is something magical and special about this book. I have been reading it with my 4 year old and his teachers have told me that he has been telling his class how proud he is to be Aboriginal and they wanted to know where they could purchase a copy.
