Mardi Davies likes to make up stories and draw pictures and is a published author/illustrator of children’s picture books.
Mardi has an associate diploma and many years experience in graphic design, and previously worked as an artist at DisneyToon Studio Australia on 9 films such as Peter Pan Return to Neverland, Jungle Book 2, Lilo & Stitch 2, Brother Bear 2 and Lion King 1 1/2.
Mardi believes in the power of storytelling, and expressing narrative in visually appealing ways. Mardi primarily works in traditional mediums with watercolour, pen & ink and pencil, and is available for freelance/contract work.
